We have been powering through and are getting there... slowly but surely. Unfortunately for us, Ace Ventura was apparently one of the movers since we received a few boxes that looked like this:
I guess those large, red FRAGILE stickers don't mean much.
We also put together the drafting table which my mom generously handed down to me before we left. I was very excited about it... until I realized how difficult it was to build. I told Wes to smile for this picture... and it might be the only time he was smiling during the big build.
Now we just need to get a tall chair so I don't look like a midget sitting at a giant's desk...
In other news, we had dinner with the Boulder Erich's tonight. Amelia was supposed to have a swim meet which unfortunately got canceled due to lightening. Wes was sad because he couldn't be that aggressive triathlon guy cheering abnormally loud at the 5-6 year old swim meet. Instead we got to go back to the house and play a few games which included but were not limited to...
-Toilet Tag - didn't get a picture of this unfortunately
-Toss your Cookies, which I'm pretty sure the Friends episode with the game show Bamboozled was based on this game.
-Doctor - Wes took on the role of a Russian doctor making it just slightly more creepy than he already looked wearing a pink Barbie stethoscope.
Wes, you look so nice as a blonde...
