Still Unpacking....

Unfortunately I don't have much to update with because we are still unpacking...

Much of our time has been spent unearthing items we wonder why we ever bought.. such as this special shirt that Wes was trying to explain to me why he should keep:

We are working on the closet and also trying to figure out ways to cover the ugly, dated concrete wall cut-out. I'm not even sure what to call it because its so special looking. Wes came up with the crafty idea of hanging the snow shoes... I think it might work for now!

One thing that was very important to unpack first was the hammock. I have been spending lots of time in it- even though it takes up the greater part of our small side yard..

In other news, this weekend is the Cherry Creek Arts Festival which has thousands of artists, restaurants, musicians, businesses, etc- lining every street in Cherry Creek. All of the roads are closed down and it has been packed with people! We went for a quick walk down yesterday to check it out- but headed back before the storm came through.

Chris Malone was in town for the Vail Lax tourney and stayed with us Thursday and Friday night on his way back. It was fun to see him and fun to have our very first overnight guest ! We went out on Friday night with a friend of Chris', Alisa who showed us around. We scoped out a few of the bars in town- all of which were amazing!

We met a couple that just recently moved to Denver from Ohio - John & Heidi. And we also met a Mounty who was in town for Canada Day...

Just wanted to take a quick break- now its back to packing!
